Peal Jam Forced off stage at o2

Peal jam annoyed bosses at the 02 venuse after their tuesday night gig overran. Frontman Eddit Vedder staged a sit down protest against the organizers who tried to force the band to finish.
Peal jam came on stage around 15 minutes late, and played to the venues offical cerfew of 11:00. After finishing their third encore singer Vedder announced, “We usually finish after this song – but not tonight!”
The band kept playing for another 20 minutes until organizers turned on the lights, signalling the end of the show. The rockers said their goodbyes but Vedder sat down cross-legged in the middle of the stage clutching his microphone until his bandmates grabbed their instruments and joined him for one more tune.
