Pete Ellis Leaves The More I See – Official Statement

We can now officially confirm that Peter Ellis has parted ways with The More I See to join LA based rockers White Wizzard.

Gizz Butt had this to say on Peter’s departure; ‘Peter’s the right guy for the job. I’m 100% behind this move and will support him all the way. He’d be crazy not to accept such an opportunity!’

Original vocalist Chad Sunderland will join The More I See for their remaining shows of 2010. In December, The More I See will set out on tour in honour of bassist Drew Markwick’s sister Beth, who tragically lost her life in a road accident earlier this year. They hope to raise £10,000 to fund a road safety awareness scheme at Market Deeping School where Beth studied. They plan to include a large number of tracks from their first album (The Wolves Are Hungry) in their live set with Chad. Most of this material hasn’t been played live since 2005 so these promise to be a very special bunch of shows.

Long term plans for the band will see second guitarist James Cluer take over as lead vocalist. James is an incredibly talented singer as well as guitarist with a fantastic attitude and passion for all things TMIS, so he’s the perfect man for the job. Plans are also now well underway for recording of TMIS’s fourth album set for release next year.

Peter Ellis featured on the most recent album release from The More I See, ‘Tread The Darker Path’. This is available to purchase now from the Transcend Store: http://www.transcendmusicgroup.com/
