Good lord. When the news of this first broke last night we thought it had to be, well, bullshit for lack of a better word. Big four thrash legends Megadeth and Richmond, Virginia’s finest NWOAHM outfit Lamb of God are teaming up for a mammoth tour of the UK in November 2015. That’s not all either – if those two bands touring together wasn’t enough of a facemelting, rifftastic prospect then check out the special guests!
Joining Megadeth and Lamb of God will be none other than Finnish melodic thrashers Children Of Bodom and UK modern thrash favourites Sylosis! For us here at Rock Sins this is a tour line up that makes us think of some of the classic package tours we’ve seen over the last ten years such as the Unholy Alliance II (Slayer, In Flames, Lamb of God, Children Of Bodom) and The Black Crusade (Machine Head, Trivium, Dragonforce, Arch Enemy) but this is arguably the most impressive of the lot!
Both Megadeth and Lamb of God will (probably) be promoting new albums on this tour – Lamb of God with Sturm Und Drang about to hit the shelves later this month and Megadeth’s as yet untitled new album which will hopefully be out in time for this almighty trek.
Right, details! The tour will take in five shows in the UK and Ireland, starting off at Dublin’s 3Arena and hitting Glasgow, Manchester, London’s world famous SSE Wembley Arena and finishing up in Birmingham at the O2 Academy there. So a mixture of arenas and other good size venues. The full details follow below:

Tickets for the tour will go on sale this Friday (17th of July) through Live Nation and Ticketmaster. Keep your eye on O2 Presale on Wednesday the 15th and Live Nation Pre-sale on Thursday the 16th. Prices are currently TBC (we will update this post when we know more).
