French metal juggernauts Gojira have confirmed that their only UK appearance of 2010 is to take place on the opening night of Bloodstock 2010. The last we heard from Gojira they were taking 2010 off after 10 years on the road with very few breaks, but this news clearly shows they’ve had a bit of a change of heart.
Gojira join a very impressive line-up which already contains the metal might of Devin Townsend, Behemoth, Cannibal Corpse, Obituary, Gwar, Dream Evil and Saturday co-headliners Children of Bodom and Fear Factory to name but a few. There has also been an announcement that another headliner for the festival will be announced on the 1st of February so stay tuned for further details.
Bloodstock Open Air 2010 will take place at Catton Hall, Derbyshire from 13-15 August. Tickets are on sale now priced at £99.95 for an adult weekend camping ticket, £44.95 for a child weekend camping ticket, £30 for a campervan ticket and £10 for a car parking ticket.
