The big news from this evening is that Linkin Park have been confirmed as the second headliner for the 2011 Download Festival. This will be the third time that Linkin Park have headlined Download after previous appearances in 2004 and 2007 and join the reformed System of a Down as currently announced headliners.
In another major addition to the line-up, Rob Zombie will make his first UK festival appearance in over 15 years when he plays Download 2011, something of a major coup for Download and festival booker Andy Copping. You can catch all of these acts and the already announced Avenged Sevenfold plus over a hundred more bands at Donington Park in the summer of 2011!
