Fozzy Bassist Sean Delson Leaves, Replacement Announced

Fozzy have announced that they have parted ways with their longtime bassist Sean Delson. Delson had played with Fozzy for 8 years and appeared on their last three albums, the most recent being Rocksins’ 2010 album of the year Chasing The Grail. The band are reporting the split was a “mutual decision”. Delson has also recently departed from Walking With Kings, another band who he has been playing in with Rich Ward and Fozzy drummer Frank Fontsere.

Fozzy have moved quickly to secure a replacement and their new bass player is Paul DiLeo. Paul is well known to Fozzy co-founder Rich Ward as he currently plays with Ward in Adrenaline Mob, Ward’s relatively new band that also features Symphony X’s Russell Allen and Mike Portnoy amongst its members.
