Behemoth

A triumphant return from a musical and medical perspective, metal fans across the UK and indeed the whole world will be delighted to know that Behemoth will make their triumphant return to the live stage during 2012’s edition of the Bloodstock Festival. Behemoth have been announced to headline the Friday night of the festival, This announcement comes as tremendously positive news for Behemoth and Adam ‘Nergal’ Darski in particular after his long battle against leukemia, one which he appears to be winning.

Behemoth were originally scheduled to play the 2009 installment of Bloodstock, unfortunately Nergal’s health issues intervened and the band withdrew from the festival as a result. Behemoth join fellow headliners Alice Cooper, who is closing the festival on Sunday night and many other bands including special guests Dimmu Borgir, Hatebreed, Paradise Lost, Anaal Nathrakh, The Black Dahlia Murder, Grand Magus and more.

BLOODSTOCK OPEN AIR 2012 takes place at Catton Hall August 9th – 12th. Four day camping tickets for next year’s event are available now at bloodstock.uk.com. For further metal festival lineup announcement news and all other rock & metal news, bookmark Rocksins.com for your daily updates.
