Virginia’s favourite sons Lamb of God have made a huge impact on the UK official top 40 album charts with the first huge metal album release of 2012. Their latest album, Resolution has body slammed it’s way into the top 20 of the charts and landed in at number nineteen. Metal fans are often regarded as some of the most loyal purchasers of music in an era where buying music is declining and this is another example of this. A big congratulations to Lamb of God and Roadrunner Records and we hope this is the first of many metal albums that will do well (commercially) here in the UK in 2012.
Lamb Of God have just completed a small set of US club shows on the first few dates of their Resolution 2012 world tour. They will shortly be heading to Asia and the South Pacific to continue the tour before heading to Europe for the Summer festival season, including making a return to Donington Park for the 10th anniversary of the Download Festival.
