As a reminder to all our readers and the Bowling For Soup fans out there, half of BFS (they’d argue the good looking half) will be hitting the UK this week for the third annual Bowling For Soup acoustic tour. Singer Jaret Reddick and bassist Erik Chandler will be entertaining up and down the country all week, both together as the acoustic version of Bowling For Soup and with their respective side projects.
With the excellent Writing The Wrong’s EP under his belt and due to be released to the masses to coincide with the tour (read a review of Writing The Wrong’s here), Erik Chandler’s solo career is off to a flyer and he’ll be performing songs from the EP and maybe some others too to open up the show.
Not to be outdone, frontman Jaret Reddick’s side project People On Vacation will also be appearing (and they’re also releasing their new EP on the day the tour starts too!) for your viewing and listening pleasure. The tour begins in Northampton tomorrow night (26th March 2012) and runs for a full week until the following Sunday, finishing up at London’s Koko. The full Bowling For Soup tour details are below:
Bowling For Soup March / April 2012 UK Acoustic Tour Dates:

27th March – King Tuts – Glasgow
28th March – Club Academy – Manchester

The Southend show is sold out. Limited tickets remain for the other venues and are priced at around the £12-£15 mark. It’s always a brilliant show (with a healthy dose of comedy as well as music) and we cannot recommend Bowling For Soup’s acoustic tour highly enough. So if you’ve got the money, head on down to a show!
