Lads, lock up any female members of your family, because Steel Panther are coming back to the UK! Currently here on a short tour (they’re in Manchester tonight (March 30th) and London tomorrow (March 31st), The Panther are returning in November for their biggest tour yet. Already known to be huge fans of the UK (they filmed their first live DVD after their major breakthrough at Brixton Academy) and it’s nightlife (Stringfellows anyone?), Michael Starr, Satchel, Stix Zadinia and Lexxi Foxx will embark on a nine date tour across England and Scotland kicking off November 5th at Nottingham’s Rock City and finishing up on the 15th at the legendary Hammersmith Apollo. Tickets go on general sale at 9am Friday 30th March (today). Some tickets may already be available to O2 priority customers. Steel Panther will also be strutting their stuff (literally) at the tenth anniversary of the Download Festival this coming June. Known as one of the most entertaining rock or metal bands going, Steel Panther are something of a throwback to the heyday of glam metal, albeit one where almost every song is supercharged with innuendo (some incredibly obvious, some less so). With a well established live reputation, this is not a tour you want to miss.
