Last week, we brought our readers the news that Lowestoft’s finest glam rockers The Darkness would be going on tour across the UK and Europe with Lady Gaga. As expected the tour has proven to be very popular, with the originally announced shows on the Born This Way Ball Tour selling out in a matter of minutes. As a result, Lady Gaga and The Darkness have added a second date at London’s Twickenham Stadium. Lady Gaga’s long time friend Lady Starlight will also be joining the lineup at the shows in Twickenham and Manchester.
Born This Way Ball UK Tour Dates September 2012:
8th – London – Twickenham Stadium
9th – London – Twickenham Stadium
11th – Manchester – Manchester Arena
This second Twickenham show is currently on pre sale to Live Nation members (Thursday 19th April 2012) and will go on general sale tomorrow (Friday April 20th 2012) at LiveNation.co.uk as well as the other usual online ticket websites. As with the other shows, the tickets will be priced between £55 and £88. If there is any more news about this tour (including further show announcements) as well as general updates from The Darkness, Rocksins will bring it to our readers as part of our regular rock news updates. For those who don’t wish to see them with Lady Gaga, The Darkness are also appearing at The Isle Of Wight festival this coming June, headlining The Big Top stage on the Sunday night.
