One of the UK’s most successful hardcore punk bands of recent years, Gallows, complete with new vocalist Wade MacNeil (ex Alexisonfire) have released some details about their forthcoming plans for the bulk of 2012.
The band are currently at work on a brand new album, the first to feature Wade MacNeil on vocals since he took over from the departed Frank Carter. To release the album Gallows have set up their own label in conjunction with PIAS recordings and their new label’s name is Venn Records. The as yet untitled album is preliminarily scheduled to appear for the masses around September 2012.
Away from the studio, Gallows have a multitude of UK festival appearances lined up including performances at Slam Dunk, Download’s tenth anniversary (where they will headline the Red Bull stage on the Friday), 1000 trees, Reading and Leeds, and Bestival. Full details are below:
