As most of our readers will be, Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe has now been back in the US for a few weeks after eventually securing bail to be released from his incarceration in the Czech Republic. What is known is that at some stage Randy Blythe will have to return to the Czech Republic to answer the manslaughter charges that have been brought against him. As a result of what has already transpired and what is to come, Randy is facing some very substantial legal bills.
To try and help share the burden for their singer and brother in metal, the members of Lamb of God have announced a metal memorabilia auction will be held on eBay with all the proceeds going towards Randy’s defense costs. All five members of Lamb of God are providing items for the auction (all used by the band either in their music videos or in the studio recording) and there are also donations from many of the band’s friends. For example, those interested can bid on guitars from Machine Head frontman Robb Flynn, Slash and the guys in Five Finger Death Punch. Megadeth’s legendary bassist David Ellefson has donated one of his bass guitar collection as has Chris Kael from 5FDP and there’s also such unique items as a skateboard signed by all of 5FDP.
Anyone interested in simply making a donation to Randy’s defense fund can donate through the Justice Now site at the following link: Donate to Randy Blythe’s defense fund
