Legends of the more ambient and drone based reaches of the metal world, Neurosis are returning with their eagerly awaited new album entitled “Honor Found In Decay” next month. The album will be released on October 29th in the UK and Europe and will be released on their own label, Neurot Recordings (if you fancy the vinyl version the release of that is being handled by Neurosis’s old friends at Relapse Records).
With the release of the album about eight weeks away, Neurosis have decided to give the first sneak peak into what lays inside Honor Found In Decay by releasing a visual trailer for the album. Featuring commentary from band members, snippets of the layout and the first samples of the album itself, check out the preview here:

Neurosis will be returning to the UK for a one off headline show at The Forum in Kentish Town in London on the second of December, accompanied by fellow ambient noise masters Godflesh. Tickets to see these two legendary bands under one roof for what we believe is the first time in the UK are on sale now at Gigantic. Neurosis are also appearing at ATP’s Nightmare Before Christmas (curated on this occasion by Shellac) at Camber Sands Holiday Camp on the first of December.
Rocksins has been fortunate enough to speak to Neurosis’ front man Scott Kelly on a couple of occasions over the years, most recently at the 2011 High Voltage Festival in London so why don’t you check out our interview with him here while you wait for the new album!
