Recently we brought you the news about Reading thrashers Sylosis planning to kick off 2013 with a tour across the UK (read the original announcement here). Well now further news about this tour has reached us concerning the other bands on the bill.
Appearing on all shows as main support to Sylosis will be Devil Sold His Soul. Coming off their headline appearance on the most recent installment of the Metal Hammer Razor Tour (a tour Sylosis themselves have also headlined), Devil Sold His Soul are going into 2013 with some serious momentum and it will be very interesting to see if they can keep it up alongside their fellow Brits.
In an interesting twist, there will be a local opening band for each stop on the tour, and Sylosis have lined up some crackers. Those going to the London show will be graced with the instrumentally brilliant Djent inspired sounds of Chimpspanner, while Manchester attendees will get to experience the full force of another of Basick Record’s finest Aliases. Bristol Attendees will get to witness Burials live in the flesh, those checking out Sylosis in Birmingham get Cytota and north of the border in Glasgow will find Colours To Shame kicking off the party.
Tickets for this tour are still available and very reasonably priced at around the £10-12 mark from all the usual online retailers. Sylosis’ brand new album Monolith is out now on Nuclear Blast Records. For more UK metal news including tour announcements please stay tuned to Rocksins.com.
