Gojira Added To Bloodstock Open Air Festival 2013

They’ve destroyed the UK twice over the last twelve months, both on their own headline tour and as part of the 2013 Jagermeister Music Tour and now Gojira are once again heading to our shores as they make their return to Bloodstock Open Air. The appearance at BOA 2013 will be a festival exclusive for the french quartet, as they take their place on the lineup on the Saturday alongside the likes of Sabaton, Avantasia and headliners Lamb of God.

Gojira’s frontman Joe Duplantier is most excited about the band’s forthcoming return to Bloodstock:

β€œHey everybody! We are super excited to play Bloodstock again this year, we had an amazing time back in 2010. Looking forward to seeing all of our UK fans again and kicking your asses!”

Not seen Gojira live before? Or even if you have want to enjoy a video clip to get you in the mood? Check out this quite frankly rediculous(ly good) video of them performing the crushing Flying Whales back in France in 2010:

Bloodstock have also announced details of some club nights to take place over the next couple of months – we’ll have details of those for you very soon!
