Five Finger Death Punch have released the album artwork for their new studio album, The Wrong side Of Heaven And The Righteous side Of Hell Volume 1 due out on 29th July 2013.
The album artwork was conceived by comic book artist and illustrator Greg Capullo, known for his work on Batman, Spawn, X Force and Gunslinger. 5FDP’s riff master Zoltan Bathory is very enthusiastic about their new artist, and had this to say on the subject:
The album artwork was done by one of my favourite illustrators, Greg Capullo, the “Dark Lord” of ink-splattered violence. Greg is a metalhead and he is funny as hell so it was riot working with him.
The lead single from the album ‘Lift Me Up’ (featuring ROB HALFORD of JUDAS PRIEST) catapulted to the #1 most shared song on Spotify upon release. The band also enjoyed their highest chart debut at active rock radio in the US with the track debuting at #18, rising to its current position at #8. Check it out below.
