On a sun soaked Sunday in 2009, British rock legends Def Leppard brought the Download Festival for that year to a close with a triumphant set packed with all their hits and a few hidden gems to boot. One of the most popular songs on the night was the rendition of their biggest hit from their Diamond certified album Hysteria, Pour Some Sugar On Me, and the video of that song from Download 2009 is below for your viewing pleasure:
Def Leppard’s performance went down so well they were invited back two years later to headline the opening night of the 2011 Download Festival, which, whilst still very enjoyable wasn’t able to match the 2009 show. Perhaps the pissing rain had something to do with it!
