Swedish power metal superstars Sabaton have got some rather exciting news! The band have announced the forthcoming release of their first ever live DVD (also coming to Blu-Ray), entitled “Swedish Empire Live”. Enough from us, hear the words directly from Sabaton themselves:
“We can now confirm the release date of the DVD/Blu Ray we recorded last year. It will be released in the UK on September 23rd, 2013 via Nuclear Blast Records.
And…
The title of our first ever real DVD/Blu-Ray release is ‘Swedish Empire Live’. More details will follow soon. We can tell you that we have watched this countless times and feel very proud and cannot wait to share all this with all of you.

Sabaton will next be in the UK in just a couple of weeks time, appearing at the 2013 edition of Bloodstock Open Air alongside headliners Lamb of God, King Diamond and Slayer, along with dozens of other metal acts of all flavours. Sabaton appear on the main stage on Saturday 10th of August, underneath headliners Lamb of God and special guests Avantasia.
