After almost a decade apart, last year Chicago nu metal veterans Soil reunited with original vocalist Ryan McCombs, the distinctive growling tone that brought the world one of nu metal’s biggest anthems with Halo. Having reunited and undertaken some successful comeback tours, including a slot on the 2012 Download Festival and a very popular UK tour with Fozzy and Breed 77 late last year (read a review of the show and an exclusive picture gallery here), the band have now produced their first album with Ryan back on board since 2004’s Redefine.
The album is entitled “Whole”, and it hit the shelves today, August 19th 2013. Having partly funded the album through a very successful Kickstarter campaign, this is an album fans of Soil have waited a long time for, and Rocksins has three copies of “Whole” to give away to our readers in our contest!
To enter the contest is incredibly simple, all you have to do is sign up to our mailing list using the form below.
