The day is finally here! After months of waiting from the band’s ever growing fanbase, Alter Bridge’s fourth full length studio album, Fortress, is finally released on this sides of the Atlantic today, September 30th 2013 through Roadrunner Records. Our American friends have one more week to wait and they can get their hands on the album on the 8th of October 2013 when the album is released in the US via EMI Label Services.
The band, who spent months crafting their latest album in-between spending time on all their various side projects including Mark Tremonti’s solo band and Myles Kennedy’s role as frontman for Slash, will be playing a special release show at The House Of Blues in Orlando, Florida on Friday (October 4th) to celebrate Fortress finally being available to the masses. Following that Alter Bridge head to Europe for an extensive headline tour with Shinedown and Halestorm including a run of arena shows in the UK, a reminder of the details of those shows can be found below:

Tickets for the tour are priced at £25 or £26.50 for Wembley Arena plus the usual booking fees. Tickets for some shows may now be sold out. Meet and greet packages for Shinedown & Halestorm are also available for certain shows at www.seetickets.com.
