With the build up to Behemoth’s brand new album “The Satanist” in full flow, the Polish masters of extreme metal have revealed their latest video masterpiece for the first single to be released from The Satanist. Entitled “Blow Your Trumpets Gabriel”, the clip sees Behemoth push the boundaries once again to create some of their darkest visual work thus far. Behemoth’s eponymous frontman Nergal explains the creative process around the video:
“Yes, we took all the time in the world to complete this project. And we did everything that was humanely possible to accurately express our vision. We crossed the Rubicon. “Blow Your Trumpets Gabriel” is an ecstatic manifest of our unrestrained artistic will, where we dare to reach out beyond the limitations of the heavy metal genre. Behemoth’s new album The Satanist will be released through Nuclear Blast Records on the 10th of February 2014, which is the exact day the band are headlining a monstrous night of heavy metal at the Kentish Town Forum in London which features Cradle Of Filth and numerous other bands (you can read the original announcement for that here).
