Having released their debut “self titled” (†††) album last month to critical acclaim, ††† aka Crosses, featuring Deftones / Palms frontman Chino Moreno have now released a music video for the first single from that album. The single is titled “The Epilogue” and was originally first released late last year. The video for The Epilogue can be enjoyed below:
Crosses are made up of Chino Moreno as well as Shaun Lopez from the band Far and Chuck Doom. They have quite a unique sound that will appeal to fans of post-rock and post-metal / shoegaze, as well as those who like any form of arthouse musical projects. Deftones fans may well find much to enjoy as well, though it’s not exactly the likes of My Own Summer. When asked to comment on the style of Crosses, Chino has remarked that it sounds:
“Minimal and soothing and it’s sort of like the stuff I like listening to when I’m not screaming my head off.”
