With an impressive array of rock, punk, alternative and metal bands with a dash of indie already amassed on the line up for the one day Camden Rocks 2014 All Day Festival, taking place on Saturday 31st of May 2014, the organisers have now released another bands of artists onto the line up. Top of these are Welwyn Garden City indie rock trio The Subways. Their bassist Charlotte Marshall is very much looking forward to Camden Rocks, and performing at a certain venue in particular:
“It feels like ages since we’ve played the UK and what better way to start the comeback than with Camden Rocks. The Electric Ballroom is one of the few venues in London we haven’t played and I remember watching bands there as a teenager! We all feel a little like caged animals at the moment and it’ll be awesome to be back on stage again.”
Just some of the bands joining The Subways in the latest group of bands are blues rock outfit The Graveltones as well as hardcore mob The Hell and their brothers in hardcore Baby Godzilla, Black Dogs and Palm Reader. UK rockers Rat Attack and Boy Jumps Ship have also joined the line up as well as indie quartet Broken Hands, pop punk act Love Zombies, Barry Dolan’s project Oxygen Thief and the unique “dance punk” group Bleach Blood to name just a few.
The above acts join The Subway’s fellow headliners Reverend And The Makers as well as Hacktivist, Ginger Wildheart, Orange Goblin, The Blackout, Sonic Boom Six, Gnarwolves, Turbowolf, The VirginMarys, Blitz Kids, Cytota and Rock Sins’ good friends Hang The Bastard among almost 200 bands who will be appearing at Camden Rocks 2014.
Tickets for Camden Rocks 2014 cost just £25 and entitle you to the possibilities of seeing any number of the 200 bands who will be playing the event across multiple venues in Camden such as the Jazz Cafe, Electric Ballroom, Underworld, Barfly and many more. Tickets can be obtained from the official website https://camdenrocksfestival.com/ – quite frankly at that price if you’re free on the 31st of May you have no excuse not to go! Check out the full line up on the poster below and then go and snap up those tickets!
