Suicide Silence Confirm First Details Of New Album You Can’t Stop Me

Suicide Silence 2014 Line Up

One of the most emotional album releases of the year has just been announced. US deathcore group Suicide Silence have just announced the first details of their brand new album, entitled You Can’t Stop Me. The album will be the first from Suicide Silence with their new singer Eddie Hermida (previously of All Shall Perish) and also the first since the death of their former singer Mitch Lucker. The album will be released on the 14th of July 2014 through Nuclear Blast Entertainment, the newest arm of the world’s largest independent metal record label Nuclear Blast Records.

Suicide Silence’s guitarist Mark Heylmun explains the reasoning behind the name of the album as well as some of the recording process:

“The long and short of it is this, Mitch left behind a set of lyrics with the title You Can’t Stop Me. This gave us chills to say the least and we knew we had the title and title track. This filled us with inspiration for writing sessions to empower us and empower you, the supporters of SUICIDE SILENCE.

We as a band (and Steve Evetts) worked tirelessly on this record and I’m not gonna say we can’t wait for you to hear it. I’m gonna tell you that you have to hear it. You have to sit and listen from start to finish. I’m not gonna tell you this is our best record we’ve ever done. I’m gonna tell you this is the record we care more about than any record we’ve ever done. This is a record that we fought, bled, sweated, and fucking cried over.

You Can’t Stop Me is out July 14th on Nuclear Blast, go pick up a copy and turn this sucker up to eleven. We couldn’t be more excited. Thank you all for supporting SUICIDE SILENCE.”

Suicide Silence’s new line-up will make their first UK appearance at the 2014 Download Festival, where they will appear on The Pepsi Max stage on Sunday June 15th. Further news and updates from Suicide Silence including any airings of new music will be reported here as and when we have any more to tell our readers.
