The Treatment have announced they will be taking part in the Record Store Day releases with a limited edition 4-track split EP, pressed onto 12″ orange vinyl, via Spinefarm Records.
This one-off run of 500 copies – produced specifically for ‘Record Store Day’ on April 19th features previously unreleased material, and marks the band’s first vinyl outing.
Matt Jones, Vocalist for The Treatment comments:
As vinyl lovers and collectors, we’re delighted to be involved with ‘Record Store Day’ 2014. We’re also really pleased that our music has now made it onto vinyl, which is especially fitting in terms of ‘Way Of The World’, as the original version of that song, by More, was released back in 1981!
The track-listing is as follows:-
The Treatment
1. ‘The Outlaw’ (taken from latest studio album, ‘Running With The Dogs’)
2. ‘Way Of The World’ (More cover – previously unreleased physically)
Reckless Love
1. ‘Die Hard’ (taken from latest studio album, ‘Spirit’)
2. ‘Angel Falling’ (previously unreleased in the UK)
This year’s Record Store Day marks the seventh annual celebration; special vinyl and CD releases, plus various promotional products, are made exclusively for the event, and sold in independent record stores up and down the UK.
In terms of on-the-road activity, The Treatment now have major festival appearances lined up both at home and abroad, including Rock Am Ring / Rock Im Park (Germany), Download (UK), Rock The Ring (Switzerland) and Graspop (Belgium), all in the month of June.
