With the event just over a month away, the team at Hevy Fest 2014 have confirmed the final group of bands to join the festival line up and there are some cracking bands amongst them. Leading the charge are Canadian post-hardcore favourites Silverstein, who’ll be appearing as main support to Friday headliners Finch on the 15th of August. US political punks Anti-Flag are another huge additional to the bill, and will also take up a prime support slot at Hevy, just under The Vandals and Reel Big Fish on Saturday the 16th of August.
Adding to those two bands are five home grown acts; Noise-rock trio Three Trapped Tigers, North West pop punk act Me Vs Hero, Bournemouth’s hardcore mob Heart In Hand, post-hardcore newcomers Acres and last of all Hertfordshire hardcore collective Heights, for whom Hevy Fest 2014 will be their last ever show!
Tickets for the festival are currently available from the official website www.hevyfest.com and cost only £69 for the whole event including camping from Thursday through to Sunday (bands play on Friday and Saturday). A ticket to Hevy also allows access to Port Lympne Animal Park, which is home to some of the world’s most endangered animal species and every time anyone purchases a ticket to Hevy part of the money will go to the animal park to help with the incredible work they do in protecting and preserving some of the planets most amazing animals. So if you like rock, metal, hardcore, prog and noise-rock, plus you’d like to see Siberian Tigers, Black Rhinos, Giraffes and other amazing animals, we’d suggest you get a move on and go pick up a ticket for Hevy Fest 2014.
