Well that didn’t take long did it? Roughly twenty four hours after the first hints of Slipknot’s long awaited return, which certain parts of the Internet and social media to collectively s**t themselves, more has surfaced from the Iowa metal juggernauts (If you missed the first one you can read about it here).
A message was posted on the Slipknot Twitter account (as well as on Roadrunner Records USA Twitter account) simply saying “more” with a link to the official Slipknot website www.slipknot1.com. Visitors to the site were greeted with some eerie, almost ambient sounding effects interspersed with a similar video to the one posted yesterday. This time around there is a constant riff to be heard on the video rather than tiny little snippets. Once again some people may find some of the video imagery pretty disturbing, though anyone who knows what Slipknot have been like over the years won’t be surprised by it in the slightest.
It remains to be seen whether there will be a third in this series of teasers to surface tomorrow – whenever the next clues are revealed Rock Sins will keep our readers updated.
