Download Festival 2015 Announces Ticket Deposit Scheme & Early Bird Tickets

Avenged Sevenfold Download Festival 2014 Pyro Going Off

The 2014 summer festival season is far from over with the likes of Hevy Fest (whom Rock Sins will be covering in full) and Reading and Leeds still to come. However, it’s already time to start thinking about next year, and as they often do, Download have come off the blocks first when it comes to next year’s festivals.

There’s no bands in this announcement, merely the welcome news that those who choose to buy their tickets early for the Download Festival 2015 will save £10 on the 2014 ticket price, which will get you approximately 2.3 beers or ciders in the arena at Download 2014 drink prices, or almost a crate* from your local Supermarket of choice for the campsite (* non alcoholic beverages are also available).

What’s more, Download have announced for 2015 that the very popular and sensible ticket deposit scheme will be back for next year, allowing Donington attendees to claim their spot at the 13th annual Download Festival without having to stump up their 200 quid all in one go.

Download Festival 2015 takes place from the 12th – 14th of June 2015 (with camp site opening on the 10th). This means for the metal dads amongst the attendees the festival will not clash with Fathers Day for the first time in a few years, which you can take either as a good thing or a bad thing depending on your disposition!

Head over to to www.downloadfestival.co.uk for the latest info and to get your early bird tickets or to sign up for the deposit scheme. Keep your eyes peeled for further news as we head into the Autumn!
