Slipknot Confirm Details Of New Album – .5: The Gray Chapter, Release New Track The Devil In I & Announce US Tour

After the huge, exhaustive viral campaign that signified their return, Iowa’s favourite metal export Slipknot have confirmed the name, track listing and launch date of their long awaited new album. Titled “.5: The Gray Chapter”, the new Slipknot album will land on physical and digital shelves on the 20th of October in the UK (21st in the US) through the band’s long time record label Roadrunner Records. The Gray Chapter will be available in a variety of formats including limited edition coloured 2 disc vinyl and standard and deluxe versions on CD with the deluxe version containing two extra tracks. In addition to firming up the details of The Gray Chapter, the second song to become available from the album, and the official first single, is now available. The Devil In I, confirmed by Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor as the official first single compared to the “bonus for the fans” of The Negative One, can be streamed from the band’s official YouTube channel below:

Slipknot have also announced a massive US tour with very special guests in the shape of nu metal forefathers KoRn and the hugely controversial King 810 will serve as opening act on what is dubbed The Prepare For Hell Tour. The Prepare For Hell Tour runs for approximately six weeks beginning October 25th with the first of two shows at Slipknot’s own festival KnotFest in California and concludes on the 7th of December in Boston, Massachusetts.
