With their new album Sonic Highways release date firmly on the horizon, US rock giants Foo Fighters have finally unleashed the first single in full from the record. The track is called Something From Nothing and is a slow burner, with a mid tempo beginning building all the way through to a high impact finish with some of Dave Grohl’s trademark growls (think All My Life). The eagerly awaited song can be heard below with a stream from the Foo Fighters YouTube channel:
You can purchase the single directly from iTunes (as well as pre-order all of Sonic Highways) on the following link – https://smarturl.it/FFSH. Sonic Highways is released on the 10th of November through Sony Music. The band’s ground breaking documentary of the same name is due to begin airing on BBC Four Television here in the UK this coming Sunday. For full details of the scheduling of Sonic Highways the documentary on UK TV please read our original announcement here.
The Foo Fighters are already being strongly rumoured for UK festival headline appearances in 2015 with Download, Reading & Leeds and Glastonbury all featuring prominently on the Internet rumour mill. They have already been announced to headline Rock AM Ring and Rock Im Park in Germany the week before Download – so could a Download debut for the Foo Fighters finally be on the cards? We’ll all have to keep waiting and hoping.
