Slipknot & KoRn anyone? This is probably completely unnecessary, but just in case anyone needs a reminder, what will almost certainly be the biggest metal tour of 2015 in the UK is set to begin tonight in the confines of Sheffield’s Motorpoint Arena.
Having already wowed their Irish fans in their first visit to the country for more than ten years on Wednesday night, Slipknot now return to the British Isles for their first full tour since late 2008 when they flattened theatres around the country in the company of Children Of Bodom & Machine Head.
The Prepare For Hell tour takes in nine arenas around the country, who will be treated to the biggest and most creative Slipknot arena stage show of the band’s long career thus far. Before that, expect hit after hit after hit as their good friends KoRn serve as the ultimate warm up act. The controversial King 810 are also onboard as opening act and whatever your view on them they will be worth seeing to see if they can live up to the considerable hype around them as one of the bands of the moment.
