Re-wind 20 years ago and UK rockers Last Great Dreamers were being tipped for the top. Coming second in the Kerrang newcomer awards in 1995 to a band who’ve had their own successful comeback in recent years, Skunk Anansie, it seemed they were headed for the top. Unfortunately, as is often the case, things didn’t quite work out for the Dreamers and they disbanded soon after the turn of the Millennium following the funeral of their tour manager.
Fast forward to 2014 and Last Great Dreamers reformed, with new album Crash Landing In Teenage Heaven reminding the world of just why so much was expected of them. Spring 2015 will see them take their new album on the road, as well as hitting fans with classic Dreamers material. The tour will take in eleven shows across England and Wales, kicking off in Chelmsford on the 4th of April and finishing up with a hometown show of sorts in Oxford on the 26th at The Wheatsheaf.
