London rockers Chinese Missy first burst onto the scene last year as successful finalists in the Red Bull Studios contest to play the 2014 Download Festival. Now Chinese Missy are back to make a different kind of statement.
Like a lot of people across the country, the band are very interested in what happens in next month’s UK General Election. They are concerned at what’s happened in government over the last five years and the way things have been, so to raise awareness of their view of what has taken place and to engage people in the political process Chinese Missy have created the politically satirical video for their brand new single Blood On Your Hands. The song is also very politically themed, with some strong lyrics evoking messages reminiscent of some of the proper punk bands of the 1970’s.
The video features “several prominent politicians” past and present. We won’t say anything further except to invite you to watch Chinese Missy’s video for Blood On Your Hands right now:
