It doesn’t seem that Slam Dunk festival is too far away and as each day passes, the excitement grows for us here at Rock Sins. Ever since British rockers were unveiled as festival headliners rumours have plagued the internet, rumours surrounding the idea that You Me At Six’s performance would include a large majority of songs from the band’s debut record; Take Off Your Colours.
Slam Dunk have finally addressed these rumours and state that the band will in fact be playing a selection of songs from Take Off Your Colours which are rarely played live any more. What makes this really interesting is that both the band and the organisers of Slam Dunk have reached out via social media to enable fans to have their say in what songs they want to hear live. By interacting with frontman Josh Franceschi via Twitter or by commenting on Slam Dunk’s post on Facebook fans can effectively have an input to what songs they want to hear from that record performed live.
So you may have heard we're playing tunes from 'Take off your colours' at @SlamDunkMusic , which ones do YOU want to hear?

Whilst it is slightly disappointing that the band won’t be playing Take Off Your Colours in its entirety, by having a fan input to what songs they exactly want to hear it will make for one will be a memorable performance this May. You can get involved by tweeting to Josh Franceschi via his Twitter account: @joshmeatsix or by commenting on Slam Dunk’s post on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/slamdunkltd/posts/1000131846663725
