Fresh off from their recent run of intimate venues around the UK, rising metalcore behemoths Bury Tomorrow have been announced as a special guest for Slam Dunk Festival. With Emmure cancelling their appearance at the three date festival, Bury Tomorrow have stepped up to replace them and are set to unleash carnage on the Monster Energy stage. The appearances at Slam Dunk are poised to finish the band’s current touring cycle for last year’s excellent album Runes.
Bury Tomorrow main man Dani Winter-Bates is more than happy to ride to the rescue of a festival he is very fond of:
‘We as Bury Tomorrow are absolutely stoked to be announced as the special guests for slam dunk. It was a pleasure to headline last year. We can’t wait to bring the pain in a fast paced set. Circle pits galore’
The Winter-Bates brothers will also be providing headline DJ sets on the Uprawr stage at all three instalments of Slam Dunk 2015. Bury Tomorrow join the likes of You Me At Six, While She Sleeps, Thy Art Is Murder, Crossfaith, Architects, Finch and a whole host of the best the alternative world has to offer. Slam Dunk takes place across three dates in May across the UK.
The dates are as follows:
23 Leeds City Centre (Slam Dunk North)
24 Hertfordshire Hatfield Forum (Slam Dunk South)
25 Wolverhampton City Centre (Slam Dunk Midlands)
