Having already announced several bands including the mighty Hatebreed as the headliners for the 10th anniversary edition of Ghostfest – Ghostfest 2015, the festival organisers have now added another seven acts to the line up.
First up, and heading over from the US for this years’ Ghostfest are American outfit Turnstile. They’ll be joined by Rise Of The Northstar – purveyors of the wonderfully titled “Nintendo-core”. 2014’s second stage headliners Nasty were so well received last year they are returning by popular demand – and this time it’s on the main stage! Genre benders Astroid Boys are also on board for this years’ Ghostfest, while Venom Prison, Make Them Suffer and Slaughter To Prevail will all also be on hand to dish out the carnage.
In addition to the above bands and headliners Hatebreed, there will also be a rare appearance from the reactivated Despised Icon, along with Xibalba and Crime In Stereo. As well as taking place at it’s usual home of Leeds University on the 5th of September, the Ghostfest organisers have added a new event – Ghostfest South, which is going to take place at Bristol’s famous Motion venue the day after the Leeds event (6th of September).
Several sets of early bird tickets have already sold out. The current offering is the second release tickets which are priced at £33 – but will run out quickly so snap them up while you can from the official Ghostfest ticket shop at Seetickets – https://ghostfest.seetickets.com/tour/ghostfest.
