Everyone who frequents this website knows that many of the staff are huge Trivium fans. So any sniff of new music from the Florida quartet is enough to make us want to investigate. A couple of hours ago a link was posted on the Trivium Facebook page with the caption “Winter unfolds before you”. The link takes you to a new website where you can do some….digging, literally.
You can check it out for yourselves by heading to https://snow.trivium.org.
We won’t say too much more than that at this point as we don’t want to spoil the fun of anyone who visits the site. But there’s definitely something there to be found, trust us. As far as new music from Trivium goes, this seems and feels very reminiscent of the campaign around the last Slipknot album The Gray Chapter, where the initial reveal of first single The Negative One was teased out over several reveals of images and incremental video updates across all the various forms of the band’s social media. It will be very interesting to see if Trivium are going to do the same kind of thing before hitting us with some new music.
The first chance to potentially hear some new Trivium music in the flesh in the UK will be when the band headlines the first night of Bloodstock Open Air Festival 2015 in a couple of weeks time. Rock Sins will have full coverage of Bloodstock so we’ll be sure to let everyone know all about any new Trivium music, plus any other developments that happen between now and then. You can also follow Trivium on Twitter at @TriviumOfficial.
