It’s not quite the line up announcement some were expecting or hoping for, but we’ve still got good news regarding Download Festival 2016!
For starters, we now know exactly when next years’ Donington festivities will take place – the 10th, 11th and 12th of June to be exact, meaning the gates of the campsite will open at midday (if they stick to previous years) on Wednesday the 8th of June.
So, we know when it is. What we also know is that you can pick up tickets for Download 2016 at some discounted early bird prices, the details of which are as follows:
Weekend arena only: £160 + booking fees
Weekend + 3 nights camping (standard or quiet): £185 + booking fees
Weekend + 5 nights’ camping (standard or quiet): £195 + booking fees
The early bird tickets will also be eligible for the very popular and sensible deposit scheme – meaning you can secure your cheaper ticket for next years’ Download and then pay in 5 further instalments.
Early bird tickets for Download 2016 go on sale at 9am on Friday 2nd of October and will be available until the 30th of October – so you’ve got just under a month to get your cheap Download tickets for next year. For those who enjoy the convenience and additional comfort of RIP – that’s going on sale on Friday too – details will be forthcoming.
