Last week London alternative quartet This Year’s Ghost were the winners of video of the week. Now it’s the turn of five more bands – and we’ve got a particularly heavy crop this week – for our readers to vote on.
French metal titans Gojira are first up this week. With a brand new album titled Magma imminent, the first taste of that album comes in the form of new single Stranded, which has a suitably dark music video, and is our readers first choice to vote on this time around.
Favourites of many of the staff here at Rock Sins, Beartooth are also returning with the title track from their upcoming new album Aggressive which is due out in early June. With a video shot partly in first person view, Aggressive is likely to go straight into the favourites list of most Beartooth fans – will they vote for it?
Keeping things heavy, one of metal’s hottest properties right now are Cane Hill, who keep things creepy with the video for The (New) Jesus. Looking like a cross between a circus gone wrong and Slipknot’s 2015 tour staging, Cane Hill take you to the bowels of the creepiest big top you’re ever likely to visit.
British rockers Reigning Days are gearing up for a Summer full of festival fun. But before they hit the road, they had time to hit the casino and win big with the new video for their latest single Empire, which is a great slice of homegrown rock with some attitude and swagger about it. We highly recommend.
Lastly for this weeks’ contest, Plymouth purveyors of rock laced with darkness Embers of Eden are up for consideration with their new track, fittingly titled Dark. This is the first new material from Embers Of Eden since 2015 and it’s very interesting to hear the progression in their sound.
Five very different bands, only one can win! Who does – it’s down to you, the readers. The vote closes on May 4th at 12pm lunchtime.Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.
