Butserfest, the UK’s biggest “straight edge” festival (alcohol free and drug free) have got plenty of news to share with everyone about this years’ edition of the festival.
Firstly, a couple of line up changes. With the news that Fearless Vampire Killers are soon to disband, they have unfortunately dropped off the Butserfest line up. Fortunately for many, Southampton’s heroes of New Grave Creeper are stepping up to fill their shoes by headlining the Crossroads Stage. Chunk! No Captain Chunk have also had to pull out of the festival, and have been replaced by Hertfordshire pop rock outfit Room 94.
Thoroughly more positive news comes in the shape of the news of which bands will play the Butserfest 2016 Acoustic Shack. In order to get access to these exclusive performances ticket holders need to keep an eye on the festival’s social media accounts to win wristbands that will allow them access to this very special part of the festival. The bands who will play the Acoustic Shack this time around are as follows:
Young Guns, Moose Blood, As It Is, Area 11, Casey, Ashestoangels and The Gospel Youth.
So a chance to see some big bands like Young Guns and Moose Blood as well as up and comers like Casey in a very intimate setting.
Butserfest celebrates its’ 10 year anniversary this year and remains one of the UK’s most affordable festivals with a ticket price of only £20, purchasable from the official website https://www.butserfest.co.uk/. Stay tuned for further updates from Butserfest as we get closer to show time!
