The rumour mill has been in force for awhile that Avenged Sevenfold were up to something. Avenged Sevenfold’s famed deathbat logo was seen being broadcast in various places in London including Camden last week one evening. Then yesterday WWE Superstar / Fozzy frontman Chris Jericho posted a picture of the Avenged logo on his social media with yesterday’s date on it.
Fans and journalists alike wondered if this was going to lead to A7X suddenly releasing a new album without warning – turns out the answer was not quite, but we do have brand new Avenged Sevenfold music to listen to.
The brand new single, The Stage, and it’s accompanying music video can be seen below:
The Stage is likely to be the first single from the new Avenged Sevenfold album which is expected early 2017. They tour the UK in January with Distured and In Flames on a huge arena tour, including two nights at London’s O2 Arena (see this post for all the details).
