Rumours have been circulating. The Twittersphere has been at fever pitch (or something like that), and we can now confirm, it is true, Enter Shikari are headlining Slam Dunk Festival 2017! The St Albans lads will be topping the bill on the annual May bank holiday triple header in Birmingham, Leeds and then make the short trip down the road from their hometown for the final installment in Hatfield.
This isn’t just any Enter Shikari show though; Slam Dunk 2017 will bear witness to a very special celebration of Shikari’s world beating debut album Take To The Skies. Whether this is a complete run through the album or just a very Take To The Skies heavy set isn’t 100% clear at the moment, but let’s face it, thousands of people losing their collective shit to the likes of Mothership, Return To Energiser, OK, It’s Time For Plan B and the obligatory Sorry, You’re Not A Winner is going to be some sight.
Tickets for Slam Dunk Festival 2017 will be on sale this Friday (11th November). Pick up all the official ticketing information at the festival website www.slamdunkmusic.com. Stay tuned to Rock Sins for further updates on Slam Dunk 2017. In the meantime, we’re off to listen to this….
