As reported here on Rock Sins’ yesterday, thrash metal Legends Metallica announced that they were going to release a music video for every song on their new album Hardwired…To Self-Destruct (even the bonus track Lords of Summer).
The videos have been releasing at a rate of one every two hours overnight in the UK, but one that has particularly caught our eye here at Rock Sins is the video for Murder One, the song Metallica have written in tribute to their friend and hero, Motorhead’s Lemmy Kilmister. The video stars Lemmy himself in a very unique fashion, as it takes a look back at some of the key moments in Lemmy’s life. We would advise everyone, Metallica fans or not, to take five minutes and check it out, as for lack of a better expression, it’s really f***ing cool!
The last two videos to be released, Spit Out The Bone and Lords Of Summer will be unveiled in the next few hours. For the complete list of videos please visit the band’s official website www.metallica.com.
Metallica’s new album Hardwired…To Self-Destruct is released tomorrow through the band’s own record label, Blackened Recordings. A review of Hardwired To Self-Destruct will be available on Rock Sins later today. *Update* – Read our Hardwired…To Self-Destruct review right now!
