Following a one off successful return to the UK in Birmingham earlier this year, renowned guitarist Ritchie Blackmore is bringing Rainbow back to the UK for a series of shows in 2017!
Most notably, Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow will be one of the headliners for the 2017 Stone Free Festival at London’s O2 Arena, which is making it’s return after the debut edition in 2016 that was headlined by Alice Cooper and Rick Wakeman. Rainbow will headline on Saturday the 17th of June. Following this they will also play three arena shows across the UK in Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham.
The shows will feature a full repetoire of both Rainbow and Deep Purple songs, as Ritchie Blackmore is joined by Meister Bob on bass, Blackmore Nights’ drummer David Keith, Stratovarius’s keyboardist Jens Johansson and Chilean singer Ronnie Romero who is described as a cross between Ronnie James Dio and Freddy Mercury (no pressure then).
