In the last half an hour, it’s been announced that the two headliners for the 2017 ArcTanGent Festival are none other than Converge and Explosions In The Sky!
The news was revealed by Radio One’s Dan P Carter in an exclusive on the Radio One Rock Show, an announcement that has already gone down VERY well on social media. ArcTanGent is unique among the UK festival schedule for its heavy leanings towards post-rock and post-metal, having had headliners such as Mono and Russian Circles in previous years but they are no strangers to a bit of hardcore either, meaning this years’ headlining duo are set to be one of the most popular yet.
Anyone wanting more info or tickets for ArcTanGent, which takes place in Bristol from the 17th – 19th of August should visit the official festival website (although, at time of writing, it has crashed following the headliner announcement) at http://www.arctangent.co.uk/. More news about the festival as and when we have it, but what a way to kick things off! You can also follow them on Twitter at @ATGFestival.
