Following Youth Killed It’s close won victory in the first Rock Sins video of the week for 2017, we’ve got another five videos vying for your votes this week.
First up prog metal legends Opeth have offered up something of a cinematic masterpiece with their new video for “Era”. Invoking the spirits of a few Japanese anime’s amongst various other things, this feels much more like a short film than a music video, but check out Era and see for yourselves.
Their previous video for “Animal” was quite something and Scottish alt rockers Vukovi are at it again on their new track La Di Da, which includes a rather large snake amongst other things. Their debut album “Vukovi” lands on the 10th of March with a tour to go with it, and quite frankly, we think they’re going to be massive. But will they win video of the week?
It’s quite frequent we get videos at video of the week that cover social issues and Cambridgeshire quintet Standing Like Statues are tackling the very important issue of domestic violence with the video for their new single Daytime TV. These types of videos can be very popular as they get a very important message across, so will Standing Like Statues come out on top? That’s up to our readers.
Regular participants to Rock Sins video of the week, Danish outfit Vola have come up with another beautifully animated video, this time for the track Emily from their Gutter Moon album. As with their previous work, we would say just sit back, listen and admire some wonderful visuals!
Lastly for this week, Dutch metallers The Charm The Fury have changed things up from some of their previous songs with their new effort Down On The Ropes. This one probably should fall under the “NSFW” category depending on how open minded people’s workplaces can be, so be a little bit careful about where you view it. Think The Charm The Fury deserve to win this weeks’ contest? Then get voting for them.
