Once a year Camden Rocks take over 20 venues in Camden Town to bring you a day jam packed full of the best rock and metal bands around. This year proves to be no different as the masses flock to Camden Town with their perfectly planned out day, ready to see as many bands as physically possible.
Camden Rocks 2016 brings us some great names and very special sets from the likes of indie rockers The Cribs to legends from various scenes such as Billy Bragg or SikTh. SikTh in particular are putting on a rather special show at this years festival to celebrate co-vocalist Justin Hill’s final show with the band. SikTh are playing to a packed out Underworld and the band and fans are all here and on top form to give Justin the send off he deserves.
SikTh are just one of the highlights of this years festival, great sets are put on by many other bands including U.K. Punks Heck and Zoax. Both put on some of the best performances seen today and as expected cause nothing but mayhem and chaos. Down the road at Electric Ballroom Evil Scarecrow are pulling out all the stops with all the handmade robots and aliens you could ask for, whilst later in the day at The Black Heart The Hell are living up to their reputation by being probably the most offensive but equally one of the most entertaining bands of the whole festival.
Camden Rocks 2016 can be seen as nothing but a success and it seems like a good day was had by all. We can’t wait to do it all again next year but for now you can check out our exclusive photo gallery of the day down below!
