We’ve been waiting for this for A LONG time. Metallica are coming back to the UK!
Earlier in the year Lars Ulrich had stated that the band’s European touring plans would be announced by the end of March and he wasn’t wrong. Metallica will be embarking on the European leg of the Worldwired tour during the Autumn of 2017 and Winter of 2018, including five shows in the UK in October.
The UK portion of the Worldwired tour will see Metallica play 2 nights at London’s O2 Arena, with James, Rob, Kirk and Lars also hitting the stage in Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester – Ooo yeah! Full details can be found below:

In terms of tickets going on sale, here’s the lowdown. Presale tickets will be available to Legacy Met Club members (aka those who were paying Members of Metallica’s old fanclub) beginning on Tuesday, March 21st at 9am UK time. Next, presale tickets will be available to all Fifth Members (Members’ of Metallica’s website) beginning on Tuesday, March 21st at 10am UK time.
