*Second Update* – Ivan is not leaving Five Finger Death Punch. Please read this.

News that won’t surprise a lot of people but will still be sad for many, Ivan Moody has announced he and Five Finger Death Punch will part company after 2017.

In his first interview for several months since his well documented on and off stage issues, on The Morning Show on KBPI Rocks Denver Radio, Ivan has revealed that he and Five Finger Death Punch have “come to a crossroads”. Ivan announced he will be concentrating on his new band Villain (including members of Coal Chamber and Gemini Syndrone) after fulfilling existing obligations with FFDP.

You can listen to the interview on the embed below:

Five Finger Death Punch can be seen in the UK with Ivan – possibly for the last time, at this Summer’s Download Festival at Donington Park where they will play the mainstage under headliners System Of A Down and Prophets Of Rage on the Friday of the festival.

*Update* Ivan’s interview with KBPI Rocks has been pulled from their website (which is why the stream is no longer working). What this means for Ivan’s future in FFDP, we don’t know as of yet. As soon as there is any more official word then we will update our readers.
